My Story
Task it to Trudy is me, Trudy Brasure. I work with solo professionals and small businesses, helping them with administrative tasks and projects. I live in northeast Vermont with my husband, David, and three children.
Here's my background story:
After college, I landed a job working for an international organization in Boston. Working in a small correspondence and customer service division, I learned the general administrative tasks of keeping records, managing mailing lists, and creating quarterly reports. When I left the work 9 years later--after several re-organizations and cut-backs--I was the entire division!
Then came motherhood. With a new baby in tow, we eventually moved to California for David's career in IT, while I stayed home to raise our growing family.
During my stay-at-home years, I wrote and published two books and started a blog. I learned editing, social media marketing, website building, and content creation skills.
Before moving across the continent to Vermont, I worked for a year as an administrative assistant creating spreadsheet lists, organizing office files, researching products, and digitizing paper documents.
Today, happily situated in a quiet wooded valley, I enjoy running a business that helps others get things done.
